Staff Accountant

• Oversee month-end closing procedures and ensure timely completion of financial reporting.
• Prepare and post reclassification, prepaid, accruals, and general ledger entries in Net Suite to ensure accurate financial statements.
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and income statement analysis for accuracy.
• Monitor and review CAM and tax reconciliations, ensuring consistency and compliance.
• Reconcile inter-company accounts with subsidiaries and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation and maintain accurate work papers.
• Collaborate with team members to complete the monthly accounting close efficiently and on time.
• Manage accounts receivable, ensuring proper cash postings and reconciliation.
• Perform database entry and ensure data integrity.
• Handle lease accounting, including ASC 842 lease adoption.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Establish, document, and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and reporting as required by management.
