Material Handler

Location: Lebanon

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Associates to perform all safety checks at the start of their shift on all cranes and tools and document this as necessary. Continue to perform safety checks throughout the shift.

* Be able to operate a forklift, hoist and crane to load or move materials from pallets, boxes or shelves. Be able to load and unload finished goods and in-process material from and to trucks or trailers with forklift or overhead cranes.

* Involves occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs and frequent work outdoors in all types of weather.

* Follow detailed instructions whether written oral given by any member of supervision or management.

* Must be able to read blue prints and drawing of pressure vessels, bills of materials, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manual.

* Operation of cranes, hoists, and forklifts as needed. Also successfully complete any training, safety program relating to the operation of the equipment.

* Ability to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations.

* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and finishing specifications as they relate to finishing products.

* Preforms housekeeping and other related duties that are assigned.

EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:

* Successfully complete any training and safety program relating to the operation of the equipment

* Must be a SPVG licensed forklift operator. Must be able to perform general maintenance to the forklifts.

* Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures.

* Ability to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations to perform the job.

* Must have a basic understanding of computers.

* Must have reading, writing and simple math skills.

* Must be able to read blue prints.

* Must have either a High School diploma, GED, or at least 1 year working experience in an industrial based environment.
