This position requires you to follow written and verbal job instructions.

Being able to provide feedback and apply critical thinking are other keys to this position. Employees must be able to use personal safety equipment while working in a manufacturing environment that includes moving machinery, fast paced forklift traffic, machine noise, and a work environment that will vary depending on the time of year. • Ensures other employees have everything they need at their workstations throughout the day to perform their job duties.
• Move stacks of pallets in and out of building.
• Assist any other forklift operators when needed.
• Load and unload dry van trailers.

• Experience operating a forklift in a production setting.
• Ability to follow written and verbal job instructions and provide feedback; critical thinking skills.
• Ability to use personal safety equipment in a manufacturing environment with moving machinery, fast-paced forklift traffic, and machine noise.
• Willingness to work in a fluctuating environment depending on the time of year.

• Frequent lifting and bending of up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Occasional extreme temperature shifts from very cold to very hot.
• Exposure to dust and loud noise; hearing protection is provided.
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moving forklifts.

• Monday – Friday, 6:00 am to at least 3:00 pm, with possible variations
• Some Saturday work may be required
