Factory Technical Manager

This is your chance as Factory Technical Manager to join a well-established chilled food manufacturing business that continues to invest in quality, innovation and operational excellence. Supplying major retailers and food service customers, this company is recognised for its commitment to high standards and continuous improvement across the site.

• As Factory Manager you will work closely with the Head of Technical leading QAs within the technical department.
• Solid experience within Food Manufacturing.
• Have worked in a client facing role previously.
• Experience managing QMS, Retailer standards and codes of practice.
• Track record of managing audits (internal, external and third-party).
• Food safety level 3, HACCP Level 3 minimum.

• Lead and manage the QA function, ensuring food safety, legality and quality standards are always met.
• The Technical Manager will maintain and develop the site Quality Management System.
• Oversee the preparation and hosting of customer, BRCGS, and regulatory audits.
• Support departments with quality guidance and process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement and food safety initiatives across the site using data, trend analysis and root-cause investigation.
• Coach and develop the QA team to support a culture of excellence.
