Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safety and quality conscious
• Good attendance – willing and able to work overtime (short time could also occur)
• Willing to operate a saw or be trained on a saw
• Simple arithmetic skills / able to read a ruler
• Able to read and understand a schedule / enter data into computer for cutter
• Strong attention to detail
• Work well with others as part of a team
• Read a tape measure
• Knowledge on machines and able to set up programming
• Handle material and oversee quality checks
• Good organization and communication skills
• Positive attitude
• Reading and understanding blueprints and work orders to be processed
• Fast‑paced work / able to do multiple tasks
• Good problem‑solving skills
• Willing and able to cross‑train and fill in for leads in other areas as necessary
• Adhere to Site Wide Safety Protocols and Requirements (Personal Protective equipment is mandatory)
• Reading fractions / decimals
• Translate instructions into computer commands so the machine can perform function
