Position Overview
The Production Assembler I plays a key role in building high-quality products while meeting production standards, customer specifications, and delivery requirements. This role operates under the direction of production supervision and follows established company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble products according to Engineering documents and quality standards.
- Operate a computer to review schedules and update job status.
- Perform operator-based Go/No-Go testing per established procedures.
- Monitor the quality of parts throughout the assembly process.
- Assist in training new team members and help resolve production inquiries.
- Perform material handling duties as needed.
- Recommend improvements to assembly processes to enhance productivity and quality.
- Communicate effectively with engineering to relay accurate information.
- Complete all required paperwork, documentation, and records.
- Participate in team meetings and group discussions.
- Follow all safety rules, work regulations, and maintain housekeeping standards.
Job Requirements:
Complexity of Work
- Ability to follow detailed but straightforward written or verbal instructions.
- Ability to solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
