Must be an experienced forklift operator. Able to operate the forklift efficiently and safely in a production setting. This position requires you to follow written and verbal job instructions. Being able to provide feedback and apply critical thinking are other keys to this position. Employees must be able to use personal safety equipment while working in a manufacturing environment that includes moving machinery, fast paced forklift traffic, machine noise, and a work environment that will vary depending on the time of year.

• Ensures other employees have everything they need at their workstations throughout the day to perform their job duties.
• Move stacks of pallets in and out of building.
• Assist any other forklift operators when needed.
• Load and unload dry van trailers.

• Frequent lifting and bending of nothing more than 40 lbs.
• Ability of standing and walk for extended periods of time.

• The work environment consists of occasional extreme temperature shifts ranging from very cold to very hot.
• Exposure to dust and loud noise (hearing protection is provided).
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moving forklifts.

• Monday – Friday 6am until at least 3pm sometimes later, sometimes earlier
• Some Saturday work may be required
