Quarry Utility Worker at Rockydale Quarries Corporation
$1,500 Sign-on/Retention Bonus!
Location:
Appomattox, VA.
- Operate skid loaders and heavy duty off‑road earth or rock moving equipment (rigid frame/articulated haul units).
- Operate cutting torch and welder.
- Know basic functions of various types of heavy equipment.
- Multi‑task and be mechanically inclined.
- Work in all types of weather conditions and in a mining environment.
- Perform overtime as required based on production needs.
- At least one year of training or proven experience with similar or same equipment machinery.
- Basic knowledge of equipment mechanics.
- High school diploma or GED required.
