Operations Technician
The Operations Technician is responsible for material movement, fixture loading, and performing gridder functions in support of sub‑assembly operations. This role involves transporting materials throughout the facility, loading sub‑assembly fixtures, and performing autonomous maintenance (AM) activities at sub‑assembly cells. The Operations Technician will move racks, skids, and other materials—both full and empty—and maintain accurate inventory control.
This position is also responsible for processing incoming materials, performing cycle counts, and managing inventory accuracy. The Operations Technician will address inventory adjustments from suppliers or the warehouse, dispute kitting inaccuracies, order hot parts through the warehouse or buyer, and manage long lead‑time inventory to prevent production line stoppages.
Work is performed in a manufacturing or industrial environment and may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, noise, dust, temperature variations, and other typical plant conditions. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks on a regular basis. Essential functions include standing and walking for extended periods; bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching; and lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials, racks, skids, and equipment.
