Machinist

Position Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Stuarts Draft, VA

Position Status: Full-time / 2nd Shift

Seeking Manual/CNC Machinist for 2nd shift positions. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation of machining processes in the manufacturing of products to specifications on a variety of materials and machines.

• Work on a variety of machining processes and equipment.
• Program and set up CNC equipment such as lathes and milling machines with little or no supervision.
• Perform machining processes in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Manufacture and measure parts, making required adjustments on tools to ensure conformance to requirements based on print and/or quality plan.
• Read and interpret planning data and blueprints or drawings necessary to complete assignments.
• Change tools when needed.
• Perform paperwork as directed.
• Perform de-burring processes and protocols if needed.
• Keep work area and machine equipment clean and organized.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks per instruction if required.
• Follow all job‑related work instructions and policies.
• May be required to work overtime and/or weekends to meet the company’s operational needs.
• Maintain regular attendance.

• Proficient in the use of math in interpreting and executing drawing requirements.
• Thorough working knowledge and understanding of CNC machining.
• Experience in Mastercam/Feature cam is a plus.
• Experience with Fanuc controls is a plus.
• Working knowledge of GD&T.
• Able to follow procedures and direction, with attention to details.
• Strong problem‑solving skills in relation to machining processes.
• Team player.
