Who You Are in This RoleAs a Sorter you will sort, transport, pack, remove, and dispose of materials safely and efficiently.

Functions Of The Job- Sort various metal materials by following written or verbal instruction/work orders.
- Transport, pack, remove, and dispose of materials as regulated by law.
- Assist in performing inventory on material.
- Assist in unloading and loading for customers.
- Operate forklifts and other power equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Work with others during the process and complete an item or task together with others; often rotating tasks and deciding how to maximize their efficiency.
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to frequently lift and/or carry 51 – 100 lb.
- Ability to frequently push and/or pull 26 – 40 lb.
- Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.
- Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
- Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Safety Awareness - Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.
- Research Skills - Ability to design and conduct a systematic, objective, and critical investigation.
- Problem Solving - Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.
- Innovative - Ability to look beyond the standard solutions.

Monday - Friday: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
