Job location:

Verona, VA.

Schedule:

3rd Shift (Sunday‑Friday 10pm‑6am). Position is fully on‑site.

• Work safely and promote the safety of those working around you; help build a proactive safety culture.
• Identify and correct potential safety hazards to prevent injuries.
• Make the equipment available to the production workforce by:
• Determining the cause of equipment breakdown or failure and making necessary repairs.
• Analyzing drawings, manuals, wiring diagrams, etc. to install, repair, calibrate or otherwise service all types of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic devices and systems.
• Applying preventative methods and routine maintenance to reduce unplanned equipment downtime.
• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions.
• Providing input into the preventive maintenance programs.
• Support management of spare parts inventories.
• Keep the building and support equipment in working order by performing repairs and modifications.
• Coordinate with outside maintenance and repair contractors when necessary to complete work.
• Develop and support maintenance scheduling and planning including Preventative Maintenance efforts.
• Actively participate in 5S activities.

• A demonstrated safety orientation.
• 5 years manufacturing related maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic machine systems.
  • Electrical knowledge up to 480 volts.
• Self‑starter with a proactive mindset able to prioritize work based on the schedules, goals and objectives of the organization.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Experience using a maintenance management system such as FIIX.
