Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift
Job location:
Verona, VA.
Schedule:
3rd Shift (Sunday‑Friday 10pm‑6am). Position is fully on‑site.

Responsibilities- Work safely and promote the safety of those working around you; help build a proactive safety culture.
- Identify and correct potential safety hazards to prevent injuries.
- Make the equipment available to the production workforce by:
- Determining the cause of equipment breakdown or failure and making necessary repairs.
- Analyzing drawings, manuals, wiring diagrams, etc. to install, repair, calibrate or otherwise service all types of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic devices and systems.
- Applying preventative methods and routine maintenance to reduce unplanned equipment downtime.
- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions.
- Providing input into the preventive maintenance programs.
- Support management of spare parts inventories.
- Keep the building and support equipment in working order by performing repairs and modifications.
- Coordinate with outside maintenance and repair contractors when necessary to complete work.
- Develop and support maintenance scheduling and planning including Preventative Maintenance efforts.
- Actively participate in 5S activities.
- A demonstrated safety orientation.
- 5 years manufacturing related maintenance experience.
- Experience troubleshooting PLC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic machine systems.
- Electrical knowledge up to 480 volts.
- Self‑starter with a proactive mindset able to prioritize work based on the schedules, goals and objectives of the organization.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Experience using a maintenance management system such as FIIX.
