Branch Leader I, II or III – Saltville

The branch leader has responsibility for managing all aspects of assigned branch. The responsibilities include but are not limited to driving branch performance through leading, coaching and managing; business development, ensuring compliance, managing human capital, and may perform teller transactions.

  • Promote positive public image, instill Purpose, Mission and Values.
  • Drive business development of the branch, delivering strong team and individual performance.
  • Drive branch revenue through small business development and new client strategies.
  • Participate in civic, professional and community affairs to prospect new business.
  • Lead, grow, coach and motivate teammates.
  • Partner with Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) and Operations partners.
  • Handle human capital decisions: interviewing, hiring, scheduling, performance reviews, disciplinary actions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years financial services and consumer/small business expertise.
  • Minimum 1 year previous branch leadership or management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, sales and prioritization skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment and pass NMLS background check.
  • Ability to inspire, lead and coach others.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Banking.
  • Graduate of Internal Leadership Development Programs.
