We are seeking a hardworking and dependable General Cleaner to join our team at a local community college in Amherst. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming educational environment for students and faculty.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, possesses a strong attention to detail, and can work efficiently during evening hours.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM (25 hours per week)

• General Cleaning: Maintain classrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Waste Management: Pulling trash and replacing liners regularly.
• Sanitization: Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting restrooms.
• Surface Care: Dusting furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Floor Care: Regular vacuuming and debris removal.
• Additional Tasks: Other cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor to ensure facility standards are met.

• Experience: At least 1 year of professional janitorial or custodial experience is required.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 35 lbs repetitively and perform labor-intensive tasks throughout the shift.
• Reliability: We need a candidate who is punctual and committed to the Monday–Friday schedule.
• Professionalism: Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and represent the company well within a campus setting.
