Boydton, VA

Schedule
:
Thursday-Saturday, 7 AM-7 PM, plus every other Wednesday (12‑hour shifts). Future opportunity to transition to a Monday‑Friday schedule as operations evolve.

• Rack, Stack & Cable
  :
  Install and manage server/network/rPDU devices with precision.
• Deployment Support
  :
  Assist with rack/MOR cabling under supervision.
• Decommissioning
  :
  Safely remove IT equipment following protocols.
• Audits & Inventory
  :
  Perform physical audits and maintain accurate asset records.
• Repairs
  :
  Conduct basic server repairs using documented procedures.
• Facility Maintenance
  :
  Keep the data center organized by removing debris and empty boxes.
• Security & Compliance
  :
  Shred hard drives and manage locked bins for secure disposal.
• Campus Support
  :
  Audit and reorder drinks/stationary through CBRE/Staples.
• Rack Movement
  :
  Physically assist in moving and racking equipment.

• Hands
  :
  Level 5 cut/abrasion/impact‑resistant gloves.
• Feet
  :
  Hard‑toe work boots covering the ankle, meeting ASTM F‑2412 and ASTM F‑2413 standards.

• Experience with cabling, punch‑downs, terminations, rack and stack, and ticketing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.

Pay and Benefits
:
The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $21.00/hr.
