Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2 to join their dedicated team. This is a Data Center Technician position focused on keeping a large data center running smoothly. The technician monitors systems for errors, handles inventory and equipment movement, supports shipping/receiving, and conducts audits. They may also help test or troubleshoot programs when issues arise.

Job Title: Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2

Location: Boydton, VA

Pay Range: $25/hr - $28/hr

• Perform physical inventory tracking, staging, and cycle audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate and execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and material movement.
• Assist with data center regulatory compliance and certification control activities.
• Support destruction of data-bearing devices following established procedures and runbooks.
• Monitor systems for equipment failure or errors, responding promptly to resolve issues.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in warehouse, supply chain, or related environment within an IT setting.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Previous experience working in a data center environment preferred.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly.
