We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL Database Administrator to support enterprise‑level database environments. This role involves managing and maintaining SQL Server, SQL Clusters, Maria

DB, MySQL, and MS Access databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across systems.

• Provide day‑to‑day support for SQL Server, SQL Cluster, Maria
  
  DB, MySQL, and MS Access environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SQL Server and cluster‑related issues, including system setup, configuration, and error triage.
• Respond to Requests for Change (RFCs) and Foot Prints tickets related to database maintenance and support.
• Assist users in creating and managing SQL databases and resolving application‑related issues (e.g., SharePoint).
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for database access and performance.
• Design and implement logical and physical database structures.
• Monitor and tune database performance; apply patches, upgrades, and security fixes.
• Maintain documentation for data models, dictionaries, and environment configurations.
• Collaborate with development teams to support application integration and performance tuning.
• Participate in Agile development processes (Scrum or Kanban).

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to pass a background investigation.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in SQL Server and related technologies.
• Experience with Maria
  
  DB, MySQL, and MS Access.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, database theory, and performance tuning.
• Experience with high‑availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based database services (e.g., AWS RDS) is a plus.
• Experience with messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, SQS, Rabbit
  
  MQ) is a plus.

The below listed pay range for this position is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The final offered salary will be influenced by a host of factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
