HR Assistant, Employee Relations
At Heritage Hall Tazewell, we are seeking a Human Resources/Payroll Coordinator. This person will be responsible for compiling and maintaining payroll data and personnel files. The Coordinator assists in the hiring process, provides orientation for new employees and ensures personnel files stay current. This individual will assist with benefit enrollment including answering benefit questions and concerns. A strong knowledge of FMLA, Worker's Comp, ADA, Affimative Action, EEO, and VEC Unemployment processes are necessary.
The Human Resources Coordinator will work closely with the Recruiting and Relations Specialist, Administrator, and Department Heads to ensure facility operations run smoothly.

Human Resources/Payroll CoordinatorQualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year experience handling personnel/payroll functions preferred
- Must be computer literate
- Experience with Paycom is a plus
- Must be able to travel as necessary for training and meetings
- Must have strong verbal and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to communicate with a wide variety of individuals
