Location: Great Falls
Novastar Prep is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiting) to strengthen our nationwide tutor pipeline and bring in exceptional educators from a wide range of backgrounds. This role focuses on proactive recruiting; finding great tutors, engaging them, and guiding them through a clean and organized hiring process. This is a
fully remote role with no travel required
.
You will focus on sourcing and recruiting tutors across a wide range of academic disciplines, with an emphasis on high-caliber candidates from top universities, graduate programs, and subject‑matter expert communities. You will own the recruiting pipeline end‑to‑end, ensuring a clean, efficient, and positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit tutors across K–12 core subjects, AP/IB, SAT/ACT, writing, STEM, foreign languages, elementary specialization, and enrichment subjects.
- Proactively source candidates from top universities, graduate programs, competitive majors, and experienced educators.
- Develop and maintain sourcing channels through Linked In Recruiter, Indeed, Glassdoor, Handshake, university job boards, academic societies, and teaching forums.
- Manage the full recruiting cycle within the ATS, including resume review, phone screens, documentation collection, interview scheduling, next‑step communication, and onboarding coordination.
- Maintain accurate, detailed candidate notes and clean pipeline tracking so internal teams have full visibility at all times.
- Deliver a professional, organized, and positive applicant experience that reflects Novastar Prep’s standards.
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting, talent sourcing, university outreach, HR coordination, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree preferred, especially in education, human resources, or a related discipline. - Strong familiarity with Linked In sourcing tools, job boards, and modern recruiting methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage high‑volume pipelines.
- Genuine interest in education, academic excellence, and student success.
- 45,000$ base salary
