Laundry Attendant - Box Truck Driver

Location

The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa is located in the Allegheny Mountains of Virginia and offers guests Southern hospitality with a four‑season resort experience.

The laundry attendant – box truck driver will ensure linens are processed in a timely fashion, in accordance with Omni Hotel standards, and delivered to the Resort. Must be comfortable operating all laundry equipment (e.g., commercial dryer, commercial washer, linen folder, etc.) and driving, loading, and unloading a box truck.

• Load and unload commercial washing machine
• Load and unload commercial dryers
• Feed sheets and table linen through ironer
• Fold towels
• Sort dirty linen
• Pack clean linens into bins
• Transport dirty linen from the Resort to the laundry facility
• Transport clean linen from the laundry facility to the Resort
• Any other tasks as required by management

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 75lbs, and stand for 7‑8 hours per shift
• Must be able to bend, crouch, crawl, stoop, and kneel on a regular basis throughout shift
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings and evenings, weekends and holidays
• Previous laundry experience in a professional setting (preferred)
• Comfortable working in an environment that is hot due to machines and processing linens
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must be able to operate a small box truck
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen
