Seasonal Front Desk Attendant

Position Summary

Lake Monticello Pool in Palmyra, Virginia is seeking friendly and dependable Seasonal Front Desk / Check‑In Staff to serve as the first point of contact for residents and guests. This role is essential to creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring proper access and smooth daily operations at the pool.

• Greet members and guests in a courteous, professional manner
• Check in residents, verify passes, and monitor guest access
• Answer basic questions regarding pool rules, hours, and policies
• Enforce pool entry policies consistently and respectfully
• Assist with daily opening and closing procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
• Communicate issues or concerns to the Pool Manager or lifeguard staff

• Minimum age: 16 years old
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
• Ability to handle basic transactions and record‑keeping
• Comfortable interacting with members of all ages
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors and in warm weather conditions
