- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide mobility assistance
, including transfers, ambulation, and positioning. - Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s care, including laundry and maintaining a safe environment.
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s physical or mental condition to the supervising nurse or agency.
- Assist with medication reminders as permitted by agency policy.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and services delivered.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Follow the client’s individualized care plan and agency policies.
