Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with fluoroscopy experience for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care hospital.
Responsibilities- Work in a 5-procedure room Interventional Radiology unit at a 255-bed acute care hospital
- Procedure rooms include 2 fluoroscopy rooms, 2 ultrasound rooms, and 1 CT-capable room
- Average caseload of 10–15 cases per day
- Cases include joint injections, paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, nephrostomy and cholecystectomy tube placements and exchanges, abscess drains, port placements, biopsies, thrombectomies, embolizations, chest tube placements, and more
- Charting via Meditech
- 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Rotating weekends and holidays required
- Call requirement of 1–2 shifts per week, with the possibility of 1–2 late shifts per week (4:00 PM – 7:00 AM) as needed
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space
- Scrub color: black or Caribbean blue
- Fluoroscopy experience required
- State license required if applicable
- Current BLS required
- Two professional references required for consideration
