Job Details:

• Day shift schedule with every other weekend requirement

• Work 2 week day shifts based on staffing needs

• Holiday rotation required - must work holidays when assigned

• Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends

• 2 years of nursing experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

• BLS certification required

• 24 hours of orientation provided

• Work on 2 West Medical Innovation Unit - 32-bed medical/surgical unit focused on new technologies and innovative nursing practice

• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including cellulitis, pneumonia, renal failure, diabetes, COPD, sepsis, UTI, wound care, and various surgical conditions

• Required skills include IV insulin protocols, colostomy/ileostomy management, hemodialysis management, central line blood draws, chest tube management, tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac, and blood product administration

• Must be comfortable with rapid response teams, feeding tube management, PICC line care, PCA pumps, and high flow nasal cannula

• Meditech charting system experience preferred

• Zero tolerance policy for THC - medical marijuana cards not accepted

• Fit testing required with shaving policy for proper mask fit

• Local candidates within 50 miles not accepted

• Cannot have worked permanent position at facility within past 24 months
