This is an entry‑level biomedical technician role perfect for individuals with 0‑1 years of experience in the field. The position focuses on testing medical devices and performing minor maintenance services. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with flexible shift options of either 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM.

• Biomedical associates degree
• Healthcare technology management degree
• Biomedical‑related military experience
• Vocational certification from an Accredited Certificate Program
• Related experience in medical device repair
• Experience with biomedical programming/use

• OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) training
• On‑the‑job training with various medical devices
• Demonstrated technical competency and productivity

• Performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs on biomedical equipment
• Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe service environment
• Meeting individual and department productivity goals
• Managing inventory processes and utility technician responsibilities
• Completing all required training as directed by leadership
• Communicating with vendors and customers professionally when needed

• A minimum of 0‑1 years of experience
• High attention to quality and detail
• Compliance with all applicable standards (SOPs and work instructions)
• Good decision‑making abilities
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills
• Ability to prioritize work effectively
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on results
• Aptitude for learning biomedical systems (like One Track) and device testing software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
• Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long‑term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position: $18.84 – $31.40
