Job Details:
• Work schedule with 1:6 patient ratios during days, nights, and weekends
• Must have minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: AHA BLS; NIHSS preferred
• 24 hours of orientation with 16 hours non-billable
• Weekend coverage required with one pre-approved time off per contract
• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
•
Skills required:
MS/Tele, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care/management, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions/PPE
• Unit has 39 beds with daily census of 28 patients
• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education
• Hospital may cancel/call off one shift biweekly without penalty if census decreases
• Traveler's permanent residence must be 100+ miles from hospital service area
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online CBLs
• Drug test must be completed within calendar days prior to start
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed for fit testing per CDC guidelines
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 4-5 hours during orientation

Adex Job #. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
