Physical Therapist

Overview

We are hiring a Physical Therapist at the Sentara Therapy Center King and Queen in Shacklesfords, Virginia. This is a multi‑site position so candidates should be flexible to work in different offices including Gloucester and Mathews. This is a Full‑Time, Day shift opportunity with GREAT BENEFITS!!!

As a Physical Therapist, you will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. You will provide age‑appropriate education for clients and caregivers, and supervise and assume responsibility for the care provided by identified team members.

• A Bachelor's Level Degree (Physical Therapy)
• Active Physical Therapist License
• Master's or Doctorate Level Degree preferred
• 1 year of experience is required for resource pool applicants
• For Hampton Roads Outpatient facilities only – Must obtain Direct Access certification within one year of hire for those with a BS or MS degree
