About The Role
As a Pharmacist with Boots you’ll provide excellent customer and patient care; it’s more than dispensing medicine – it’s listening and offering expert advice and reassurance. Your main areas of responsibility include:
- Delivering the pharmacy strategy through expert care and advice
- Being accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
- Building the pharmacy capability of store teams
- Conducting continual reviews through audit, observations and risk assessment to ensure customer and patient safety is paramount
- Delivering a range of professional pharmacy services
- Registered with a relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
- Demonstrated high levels of professional expertise and respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers and external local professionals
- A passion for community pharmacy and providing the best care for our customers
- Collaborative, team‑centered approach
- Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services
- Excellent communication skills; able to put people at ease and effectively meet varied customer and patient needs
