Clinician (Bilingual) role at Holy Family Institute (HFI). Journey of Hope Program.

Hours:
Full-time, exempt position with flexibility.
Holy Family Institute (HFI) is a 120-year-old Catholic organization serving children and families in the Pittsburgh region. We are one of Pittsburgh’s largest social service organizations operating 15 programs in three counties. We are guided by Catholic Social Teachings and serve people of all faiths and backgrounds.
Responsibilities- Conduct mental health assessments for all Unaccompanied Children (UC) in care, and provide ongoing individual, group, and crisis intervention. Be available for on-call rotation and psychiatric emergencies.
- With referring agency, establish goals regarding family reunification and behavior management. Develop and coordinate Individual Service Plans. Collaborate with residential staff and school staff to collect information regarding resident participation in the program.
- Maintain a UC to clinician ratio not greater than 12:1. ORR will have final approval of any hired candidate.
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, or related behavioral science with clinical experience as a program requirement and at least 5 years of clinical employment experience; OR master’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related behavioral science with clinical experience as a program requirement.
- LSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC licensure strongly preferred.
- Master’s degree holders should have at least 2 years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience; all candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure.
- Must obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (read, write, and speak) required.
