Under direct supervision of the Community Development Director, the Planner/Mapping Technician will learn and practice planning in a small rural community by administering the Town of Silver City Land Use Code, manage case files, serve as liaison on various committees/commissions, maintain current maps and GIS imagery for various uses and requirements.
DESIRED MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate’s degree in related field.
- Five years of customer services and/or clerical experience.
- Two years of computer-based mapping or drafting.
- Experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
