Axiom Staffing Group is recruiting a Finance Analyst for a well-known manufacturing company in Middletown, VA. This on-site role focuses on cost accounting, variance analysis, and financial reporting to support manufacturing operations and ensure accurate standard costs and inventory valuation.
Key Responsibilities:- Support monthly close activities including inventory, COGS, variances, and reconciliations
- Review and maintain standard costs (BOMs, labor routings, overhead rates)
- Analyze manufacturing variances and partner with operations on corrective actions
- Support standard cost rolls and cost updates in SAP
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation and support cycle counts
- Prepare cost, spend, scrap, and variance reporting
- Assist with forecasts, AOP planning, and business reviews
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain SOX and internal control compliance
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, $35.00-$50.00/hr depending on experience
- This position is a 100% in person.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Must be local to the Middletown, VA area
- 4+ years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong cost accounting and variance analysis experience
Advanced Excel required; SAP experience preferred - Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
