Pay Range: $44/hr $49/hour

The Finance and Accounting team at a major U.S. packaging company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support mill and corporate financial operations through detailed analysis, reporting, and collaboration. This role partners closely with business leaders to provide financial insight, manage accounting processes, and support decision-making in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a self-directed professional with strong analytical skills, effective communication, and comfort working independently in a fast-paced setting.

• Execute monthly close activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and variances while supporting forecasting and annual budgeting efforts.
• Assist with accounts payable review, balance sheet reconciliations, and required internal and external audits.
• Deliver routine and ad hoc financial reports, perform special analyses, and collaborate with tax teams to track cost improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a focus on accounting.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in financial analysis, accounting, or reconciliation roles.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a manufacturing or process-driven environment with multiple priorities.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools, with experience in JD Edwards or Hyperion considered a plus.

• Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills
• Hands-on experience with month-end close activities and journal entries
• Comfort and familiarity working within a manufacturing environment
