Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern

Dewberry is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 for our Fairfax, VA and Richmond, VA office. You will work on all phases of civil/municipal engineering including water and sanitary sewer design. Typical projects involve helping local, state, and regional clients solve complex water and wastewater challenges.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• Previous internship experience preferred.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency using CAD/CADD a plus.
• Desire to work in a team environment.
