Job Title: Senior Electronic Engineering Technician
Job Summary: In this role, the Senior Electronic Engineering Technician will be integral to the design and manufacturing teams. The technician will assist in design verification testing and prototype assembly and conduct electrical and environmental tests to support product development. Responsibilities include product inspections, rework, manufacturing support, and ensuring efficient coordination across departments to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test prototypes under the guidance of engineers.
- Support design engineers in various testing phases and product validation.
- Conduct functional and reliability tests using standard testing equipment.
- Perform product inspections, adjust and calibrate equipment, and provide detailed technical reports.
- Manage multiple tasks, maintaining excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency in soldering, using diagnostic tools (like DVMs and oscilloscopes), and understanding of failure analysis.
- Strong technical documentation skills and familiarity with office software.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Education and Experience:
- Associate's Degree in a relevant field or at least three years of technical experience.
- Knowledge of electrical principles and experience with lab measurement equipment is preferred.
