Responsibilities
  • Gather customer‑specific quality requirements, review relevant governing reference material, and develop project‑specific quality plans.
  • Create and maintain project‑specific quality plans and assure alignment between external and MMd quality plans.
  • Conduct mutual understanding meetings with subcontractors.
  • Maintain a Quality Control Tracking Log (QCTL) with planned and actual schedules for each of the three phases of quality control.
  • Create and maintain necessary QC checklists.
  • Verify and status submittal approvals.
  • Facilitate and participate in design reviews.
  • Maintain ongoing interfaces with clients and subcontractors for issue resolution, reporting, improvements, and audits.
  • Facilitate and coordinate inspections and audits with 3rd‑party inspectors.
  • Document tailored processes across the value stream using ISO, CMMI, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, PMBOK, ITIL and other internationally recognized process frameworks.
  • Identify technical and administrative controls, create rules, policies, and procedures for implementation.
  • Lead all activities involving quality assurance, compliance, audits, deliverables, and process improvement.
  • Conduct specific audits to measure the degree of adherence to documented policies and procedures.
  • Prepare product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Develop project scorecards on quality assurance and report to project and executive teams.
  • Work on special process improvement projects to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s Science Degree in Engineering or Construction Management. Industrial/Systems Engineering is preferred.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
  • Working knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3‑Phase Quality Control System.
