Location: Yorktown
Summary
A co‑teacher is responsible for the care of and well‑being of 16 children ages 2‑5. Co‑teachers are paired with another co‑teacher, making our highest ratio 1:8.
DutiesA co‑teacher is responsible for lesson planning, conducting meaningful interactions with the children, classroom management, keeping a tidy classroom, communicating with families, ensuring the safety of all children, and helping to create a positive and happy environment.
Requirements- At least 18 years of age and a high school degree.
- Experience preferred but not mandatory.
- CDA in early childhood education
- Associates in early childhood education
- Bachelor's in early childhood education
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Paid federal holidays
- Paid Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter vacation
- No nights, no weekends
