Job Description ELEMENTARY CLASSROOM TEACHER  School Year Assignments TBD, Location - McCleary Elementary

The Craig County School Board in Virginia is now accepting applications for an elementary teaching position that is available within our division for the  school year.

To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student.

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License with the appropriate endorsement to teach at the elementary school level
• Have experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
• Have experience and expertise in using technology in education
• Have experience or working familiarity with Google Drive for instruction, collaboration and course work
• Have effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families
• Demonstrate the ability to be dependable and punctual
• Demonstrate the ability to work and collaborate with a team of other teachers

Salary:  Teacher Salary Scales

FLSA: Exempt
