Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students with special education needs
• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies and interventions
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth

Qualifications

• Valid Virginia Special Education teaching license or eligibility
• Experience working with Pre-K, elementary, or upper elementary students preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
