Pay: $17–$20 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Bristow is seeking an experienced Toddler Lead Teacher to guide our 2-year-old classroom. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys leading a classroom, creating consistent routines, and supporting toddlers as they develop independence, communication, and social skills in a structured, play-based environment.

Our toddler program emphasizes positive guidance, hands-on learning, and predictable daily routines that help children feel safe, confident, and engaged.

• Lead a toddler classroom in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment
• Implement daily lessons aligned with The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Support early language development, social-emotional growth, and motor skills
• Maintain consistent routines including meals, toileting or diapering, transitions, and rest time
• Supervise and support assistant teachers to ensure classroom consistency and quality
• Observe and document developmental progress
• Communicate professionally with families and leadership
• Maintain compliance with Virginia licensing requirements and center policies

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of lead teacher experience in a licensed childcare or early learning setting
• Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
• Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
• Ability to meet all Virginia childcare licensing and background requirements
