Special Education Teacher - Accomack

Pay: $40 per hour

Job description: In-Person Special Education Teacher

Location: Accomack County School District

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Ro Health is seeking dedicated and experienced Special Education Teachers to join our Virginia Behavioral Team for the  school year (and beyond). • Provide specialized instruction to students with IEPs in inclusion, resource, or substantially separate settings
• Design and deliver individualized lesson plans aligned to IEP goals
• Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain accurate progress data
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to support inclusive practices
• Lead or contribute to IEP meetings, re-evaluations, and parent-teacher conferences
• Implement behavior support strategies and classroom accommodations
• Create a structured, supportive learning environment that promotes student independence and engagement

• Valid Virginia License in Special Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Knowledge of IEP development and SPED compliance
• Experience working with neurodiverse learners in school settings
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to pass background checks and provide professional references
