About the role

An esteemed non-profit educational program serving boys aged 10-18 is currently seeking full-time Teacher's Aides, with opportunities for part-time substitutes as well. Candidates who are energetic, engaging, and have a passion for facilitating both personal and academic growth in children are encouraged to apply. This role involves supporting classroom teachers with instruction and behavioral support and fostering excellent relationships with students.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • A minimum of a high school diploma is required, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent experience working with children or adolescents may also be considered.
  • Previous experience in camps, schools, youth groups, or youth leadership roles is advantageous.
  • Responsible for supervising a classroom of 5 to 8 students, adhering to program protocols, and effectively managing behavior.
  • A calm, patient demeanor with the ability to provide strong, supportive interventions is essential.
  • Must be committed to delivering energetic, joyful, and engaging care to students.

Schedule

8-hour shifts, primarily during the day from Monday to Friday.
