Secondary English Teacher

Jackson-Feild Behavioral Health Services, a private rural residential special education facility for teen girls and boys has an immediate opening for a Secondary English Teacher fully certificated or who possess the credentials to obtain a provisional license to teach grades 9-12 English literature, grammar, and composition.

Qualified candidates must possess the ability to work effectively with ED, LD, and students in a regular tract.

* * Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.

* Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment.

* Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback.

* Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and instructional design.

* Support students' literacy education and promote a love for reading and writing.

* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to enhance educational outcomes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
