Focus on Radiation Oncology:
Dedicate your time to managing radiation therapy treatments for cancer patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Predictable
Schedule:
Enjoy a consistent work-life balance with a Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM schedule. Supportive Team Environment:
Collaborate with nurses, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive cancer care. Modern Technology:
Utilize the Aria and Meditech electronic health record systems to optimize patient care. What You'll Do:
Conduct comprehensive consultations and examinations for patients with cancer. Develop and implement individualized radiation therapy treatment plans. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with medical oncologists and other specialists to ensure coordinated care. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in both Aria and Meditech electronic health record systems. Who You Are:
Board-certified in Radiation Oncology. Current and active license to practice medicine in Virginia (VA). Strong clinical skills and experience in developing and managing radiation therapy treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues. Proficient in electronic medical record systems (Aria and Meditech). Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
