Full-time position, Day/Night shifts.

• Diagnose and treat acute medical conditions using evidence-based medicine, including prescribing medications and performing procedures.
• Perform examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop comprehensive care plans.
• Coordinate care with nursing, case management, and other medical staff to ensure continuity and quality.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Health Information record; report births, deaths, and contagious diseases.
• Participate in Joint Commission readiness activities and performance improvement initiatives.
• Engage in basic and clinical research, including development and testing of new medical techniques.
• Supervise and mentor medical staff, resident physicians, students, and other support personnel.
• Uphold the hospital’s core values: patient-centered care, respect, teamwork, integrity, and professional competency.

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Valid state medical license to practice in Virginia.
• Experience with emergency department operations, including night shifts and trauma care.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
