Job Description

Ballad Cancer Care is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for two locations – Kingsport, Tennessee and provide outreach services to Norton, Virginia – it entails NO Call responsibilities
.

Our center in Kingsport, Tennessee consists of six physicians, eleven advanced practitioners, and a 40-chair infusion suite. Outreach would be required at our Southwest Virginia Cancer Center located in Norton, Virginia, which houses medical and radiation oncology with a 20-chair infusion center, and an onsite mobile PET CT scanner all in one convenient beautiful lodge-like setting. At both locations, your patients have access to onsite dietitians, social workers, financial assistance, clinical trials/research, support groups, screenings, high-risk clinics, and Nurse Navigators to help patients in their treatment journey.

These two locations are part of the seven that make up Ballad Health Cancer Care, and our system provides a full range of oncology diagnostic and treatment options including Brachytherapy: IMRT, SBRT and SRS:
Trilogy and Tru Beam STX. Our physicians participate in weekly, multi-modality tumor board conferences to help provide the best possible treatment options. Our staff provides excellent personalized care plans to patients that help meet their unique needs.
