Midpoint Chevrolet Buick GMC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Counter-person to join our team in Rocky Mount, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers and service technicians by providing accurate parts information and efficiently managing inventory to support our service department’s needs. Your knowledge and customer service skills will help ensure smooth parts operations and contribute to an exceptional dealership experience.

• Greet customers promptly and assist them in locating and ordering the correct automotive parts and accessories.
• Maintain and organize inventory, ensuring all parts are properly stocked and labeled.
• Process parts requests accurately and efficiently using dealership management software.
• Coordinate with the service department and parts suppliers to expedite orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide knowledgeable advice to customers regarding parts compatibility and usage.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at the parts counter.
• Handle returns, warranties, and exchanges in accordance with dealership policies.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in automotive parts sales or inventory management preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with automotive parts and terminology is a plus.
• Proficient in using computer systems and inventory software.
