DescriptionFirst Merchants Bank is seeking an Administrative Specialist - Loan Operations to join our team! This position will provide administrative and operational support to Loan Operations.
- Perform general administrative duties associated with projects or routine tasks as assigned by management within the department
- Distribute, sort, and process incoming and returned mail pieces.
- Support the Commercial Loan Operations Change Communications (CLOCCs) team by providing administrative support including but not limited to answering calls from internal customers and responding to inquires/questions via case ticketing systems.
- Maintain all Loan Operations internal Launchpad sites.
- Provide support to Loan Operations through the onboarding processes and training experience for new hires.
- Assist with drafting and distribution of newsletters and communications.
- Review loan packets and extract original documents for retention and file according to retention standards.
- Act in a backup role for the department’s Receptionist.
- Maintain paper and electronic filing systems.
To be successful in this position, we require the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- A minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
The following would be a plus:
- Associate degree in business, finance or related field of study.
- Experience working in a multi-department administrative role.
- Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
