Position DetailsThe Dickenson County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications for a full-time position in the Solid Waste Department. Applications may be obtained at the County Administrator’s office Monday through Friday, from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. or on the County’s website kensonva.org. The deadline to submit applications is Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 4:30 P.M.

- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
- Ability to ride on the rear of a garbage truck
- Must pass a drug test and background check
- Strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Successful applicant must obtain a CDL license within six (6) months of employment
