Scheduler (Administrative)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a view of CCA’s projects and estimated jobs, ensuring a streamlined and efficient flow of work from the beginning of the project, to production, through project completion. This role requires identifying required timelines and coordinating with Estimating, Client Services, and Production Managers.
This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills. The Scheduler plays a vital role in maintaining smooth workflow and supporting production in delivering quality service to CCA clients. Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.
- Excellent attendance is a MUST.
- Learn production processes, equipment, and rates.
- Assist the Scheduling Manager as needed.
- Reference and track milestone dates as noted on the Master Schedule.
- Create and maintain tracking for various production departments:
Data, Variable Imaging, Bindery, Inserting, Specialty, etc. - Create timelines for new mailing and print-and-ship opportunities.
- Generate revised timelines for delayed jobs.
- Work directly with production managers to identify potential bottlenecks within their schedule.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure priorities are understood and maintained to ensure production managers are aware of any fluctuations within the priority or scheduled workflow.
- Ensure that upstream and client-driven milestone dates meet the needs and capabilities of downstream production.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Printing and Mailing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to think outside-the-box
- Exemplary attention to detail
- Must be able to work under pressure at times
- Team-oriented with excellent communications skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing skills (10 key typing preferred)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
