This is a full-time, on-site role located in Sandston, VA, for an experienced Bookkeeper. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, managing accounting software, and ensuring accurate journal entries. Day-to-day tasks will include processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial management to ensure operational efficiency at Evans Construction, Inc.

• Strong understanding of Financial Statements and basic Finance principles
• Proven experience in Bookkeeping and creating accurate Journal Entries in accounting
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software and other financial management tools
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with construction industry accounting processes is a plus
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
